Invited Sessions

An invited session consists of 120 minutes of podium presentations. It may be composed of six 20-minute papers, or of one keynote 40-minute paper plus four 20-minute papers. The keynote paper of an invited session should address the broader setting of the topic of the session, for example, an address concerning emerging trends as well as recent developments.

The invited session proposal must contain a summary statement describing the motivation and relevance of the proposed session as well as the session title and the list of papers (including title, authors, and affiliation) in the session.

Proposals will have to be followed by the individual submission of the full version of all invited papers. Each paper will be individually reviewed and invited session proposals will be rated as a whole. At the discretion of the programme committee, individual papers may be removed from a proposed invited session and placed into the regular programme, and selected regular papers may be moved into an invited session. Likewise, selected papers from a rejected invited session may be placed into the regular programme.

Submission Instructions

All invited session proposals must be submitted electronically through the IFAC PaperPlaza CMS using the ACA 2016 Invited Session Proposal Form (download) and all invited session papers must be submitted using the appropriate Session Code through the IFAC PaperPlaza CMS.
